John (Jake) W. Filoon III
President & Chief Operating Officer

Jake joined Weston Financial in May of 2011 after twenty-one years with Bank of America where he held various wealth management and corporate roles. Most recently he served as a Managing Director of Investments for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Retirement and Philanthropic Services business. His other wealth management activities included positions for U.S. Trust, The Private Bank, Columbia Management Advisors, Columbia Management Company, and Columbia Trust Company. Prior to these roles Jake served as a Managing Director within legacy holding company Corporate Strategy & Development departments, working on company mergers, acquisitions, and strategic planning. Jake oversees Weston Financial’s business activities, including sales, client service, and operations. He received a B.A. from Colby College and an M.B.A. from Babson College.
